The bag is a bit pricey...BUT, considering I will be using it A LOT, worth the cost if you consider long term and peace of mind that you will arrive dry.

After taking time to load items as neatly as possible, and arranging evenly from side-to-side, and front -to-back it zipped up and the Velcro sealed up securely. The four corner straps secured the bag in place. We traveled mostly interstates at speeds of 65 to 80 mph, and it never moved. Fortunately we did not encounter any rain so I can't comment on water repellency. I will say the material feels thick and of a water repellent type of material with the Velcro flap to seal the zipper.

Our 2cd Sport 3 Carrier; both through Auto Anything. We like that it takes very little storage space when we are not using it.We use it to drive from NY to MT and back every summer; and shorter camping trips. We purchased the liner, we went through major storms everything was dry.Our first one had a slight zipper failure when we stuffed it too tight, but there are 2 zippers and the other one was able to go all the way around. We got the 2cd (spare) after small pinholes developed.
