Anyone who surfs and owns an FJ cruiser knows that the OEM and aftermarket racks are geared towards baja adventures and strapping everything but the kitchen sink to the top of your car. These racks cost 1000+ dollars and make a lot of noise at highway speeds. INNO is the only rack company that makes a mounting bracket that fits the FJ Cruiser so that a more normal surf/bike/kayak/ski rack can be put on. It's a lot like a thule rack and seems to sit on there pretty solid. I've had a 9 foot 6 windsurf board on top of mine and it I have no worries it will fall off at highway speeds. THe only downsides are that in the stock mounting sites you must mount the racks 3 feet apart or 6 feet apart because there are only 3 mount sites on the FJ. Also the locking mechanism is pretty pointless because you can just unbolt the metal tab the rack sits on. Otherwise this would receive a higher rating.

I should have gotten this a long time ago. This awning is great, so easy to set up and to take down. I can deploy it in less than 2 minutes so stopping and having shade is never a problem. It is well made also. Mine is not mounted of my FJ but is mounted on my tear drop camper.
