Good Roof Top Bag 2012 Toyota Highlander

Reviewed By Joseph N (WICHITA, KS) Reviewed for a 2012 Toyota Highlander —9/9/2015 6:01 PM

I got the 8 cu ft black bag and was able to fit 3 carry on luggage into it though it was quite tight fit but not being a polymer box top it was able to expand and semi-mold to the luggage. That also attest to the quality of the zipper from not breaking under such strain. The only downside to the bag was the included cover did not tighten very well and constantly came undone at the front and the pinch cinch hit against the roof of the car which can get very annoying during long trips.

Handy Camping Trip Addition

Reviewed By Benjamin D (ARVADA, CO) Reviewed for a 2000 Toyota Sienna —6/2/2015 8:37 PM

We bought the Rightline Gear Cargo Saddlebag to carry our tent & camping gear for our big cross-country trip to the Grand Canyon. Our minivan fills up fast with goods to feed, clothe, & entertain 3 small children. Per others' recommendations, we put a covered sturdy piece of plywood on the bottom. The Saddlebag: - Gave us needed space to travel efficiently & effectively - Was fairly easy to assemble & install - Is no worse for wear after 1,300+ miles over mountains & through deserts

Sherpa to Myrtle Beach

Reviewed By Douglas Y (MILFORD, OH) Reviewed for a 2008 Toyota Sequoia —6/24/2014 5:54 PM

After taking time to load items as neatly as possible, and arranging evenly from side-to-side, and front -to-back it zipped up and the Velcro sealed up securely. The four corner straps secured the bag in place. We traveled mostly interstates at speeds of 65 to 80 mph, and it never moved. Fortunately we did not encounter any rain so I can't comment on water repellency. I will say the material feels thick and of a water repellent type of material with the Velcro flap to seal the zipper.
