Easy installation, low wind noise. You will loose about 2-3 miles/gallon when you have it on the roof. Recommended!!

Just got back from a trip to St. Louis and this carrier was a godsend. Figuring the proper strap configuration was a bit tricky as my SUV has rails but not crossbars. Once I got that sorted, it was easy. On the return, we were in heavy downpours and 90% of my stowed gear was dry. I think what did get wet was a leaky water bottle, not the rain getting inside. So two thumbs up there. Great addition that I'm sure to use again. Thanks to all who posted reviews before me; the tips were good!

Just got back from the first trip using this carrier--300+ miles each way, much of it in heavy rain. This carrier is simple to install, holds a ton, and has held up well. And, everything inside remained completely dry. It's a great, inexpensive alternative to hard carriers. Highly recommended.
