So far so good!

We have only used our Packright on one weekend (10 hour, roundtrip) trip so far and it served it function pretty well and the only complaint we have is that once tightened, we couldn't get the extra strap length to stay put away and not hit the car in the wind as the car drove. But, we are still happy with the carrier. It seems to be very durable, high quality and it holds a lot of stuff! We had suitcases, etc. for 5 plus baby gear and still had room in the carrier.

Easy installation, low wind noise. You will loose about 2-3 miles/gallon when you have it on the roof. Recommended!!

Did the job

Just got back from a trip to St. Louis and this carrier was a godsend. Figuring the proper strap configuration was a bit tricky as my SUV has rails but not crossbars. Once I got that sorted, it was easy. On the return, we were in heavy downpours and 90% of my stowed gear was dry. I think what did get wet was a leaky water bottle, not the rain getting inside. So two thumbs up there. Great addition that I'm sure to use again. Thanks to all who posted reviews before me; the tips were good!
