This carrier is solid with a durable coating and tons of accessories available. It also has a reassuring 5-year warranty which says something about ts quality.

Surco 1-Piece Hauler 20"x 48" (2" Receiver)

Reviewed By Robert M (El Paso, TX) Reviewed for a 2003 Toyota Tacoma —6/16/2009 11:37 AM

I purchased this carrier for a recent camping trip with the family. My Toyota Tacoma has a short bed and limited space for gear. The Surco carrier was simple to install and gave me about 50% more carrying capacity. I also used it to round up firewood for our campfire and loaded it with several heavy logs. The carrier held up well and served its purpose. Make sure you purchase a tie down net and an anti-rattle lock to compliment the carrier.

Heavy duty and does the job

Reviewed By Albert G (Berkeley Heights, NJ) Reviewed for a 2002 Toyota 4Runner —10/16/2015 4:43 AM

The Curt 18109 cargo carrier is heavy duty and well made. Assembly by myself was challenging and took about an hour but went together well and solid. I haven't used it yet but like the fold up feature. I would have preferred red reflectors of the rear but I was able to buy them at Walmart for about $ 10. Also, the carrier did not come with a hitch bolt, only the bolt for the fold up. I was able to buy a hitch bolt at Walmart for about $ 4 & used a lock I had to prevent theft.
