Good system, tough to get all set up by yourself but can be done. Mounted easily to my Thule racks and doesn't make a lot of noise up there.

I bought the carrier to be used in the bed of my truck. It is large enough for lots of luggage. The straps work great and it stayed secure. The best thing was that the cab was not full of luggage and the back seat area could be used for its intended purpose.

We bought the Rightline Gear Cargo Saddlebag to carry our tent & camping gear for our big cross-country trip to the Grand Canyon. Our minivan fills up fast with goods to feed, clothe, & entertain 3 small children. Per others' recommendations, we put a covered sturdy piece of plywood on the bottom. The Saddlebag: - Gave us needed space to travel efficiently & effectively - Was fairly easy to assemble & install - Is no worse for wear after 1,300+ miles over mountains & through deserts
