Rightline Gear Sport 3 Car Top Carrier Reviews

Great capacity, a bit challenging to secure.

Reviewed By Rick G (Wayne, PA) Reviewed for a 2013 Toyota Venza —10/15/2015 5:47 AM

Good quality and great capacity. Our challeng was that the matching "strap hooks" by Rightline did absolutely NOT fit on our Toyota Venza. As we learned this the day of departure, we had to improvise by tying straps to the interior handles on the inside roof of the vehicle. Not ideal! The roof pad also bunched as it slid back from the front of the carrier in travel wind. We were disappointed as Rightline assures the hooks are essentially "universal" in fit, which was NOT true for our vehicle.

Very easy to install on 2013 Toyota Venza with factory racks. Looks great and I anticipate it will perform well for the upcoming ski season. Easy to load and lock assemby was already installed (as opposed to Yakima racks on other car, which were difficult).

I didn't follow what little instructions came with the parts

Reviewed By GAITHER D (WILMINGTON, NC) Reviewed for a 2016 Toyota Highlander —1/6/2017 2:39 PM

It did not come with printed instructions = Only printed images on the box. That was Ok = It wasn't to hard to figure out = Beside I mounted it under my crossbars = not on top. Being lower it should be e to load / unload my kayak. To me it looks better. I was not able to adjust my racks for a better fit being the 2016 Highlander racks are fixed = not adjustable = A big mistake Toyota made in their design, my mistake for not checking before purchasing the vehicle. I plan to make a youtube
