Space needed

Reviewed By Cynthia B (Victorville, CA) Reviewed for a 2008 Toyota Yaris —8/10/2010 8:42 AM

We bought this because we love to camp but don't have a lot of room in our very small but very fuel efficient car. When we got it we put it on in about 15 minutes tops. It was really easy to install and because it isn't permanent it will be really easy to remove and reinstall when needed. Also it looks really cool. But I would recommend getting the wind fairing because it does make a lot of noise without it.

ARB 2000 Awning - Awesome Product

Reviewed By Joshua J (LOUDONVILLE, NY) Reviewed for a 2003 Toyota 4Runner —7/12/2016 8:20 PM

This awnimg is great. I typically use it while camping but have also used it in my driveway when I needed some shade. The materials are very heavy duty, I cannot see it ripping at all. Once the awning is completely set up and the guide wires are steaked down, it is surprisingly very sturdy. This awning is the perfect size for my car. I would recommend this product, I like it so much I might buy another one.

Great quality and Ease to put together

Reviewed By patrick s (CENTENNIAL, CO) Reviewed for a 2016 Toyota 4Runner —5/18/2016 3:09 AM

Came with excellent directions and was easy to put together. All screws are put together using a security hex wrench (an allen wrench that has a female dimple in it with a screw head that is hex with a male part that fits to the hex wrench) which is good for security but slightly slows the process of combining the front and back of the basket together, affixing the wind deflector then affixing the whole basket to the roof rack. But, overall, a simple process.
