Space needed

Reviewed By Cynthia B (Victorville, CA) Reviewed for a 2008 Toyota Yaris —8/10/2010 8:42 AM

We bought this because we love to camp but don't have a lot of room in our very small but very fuel efficient car. When we got it we put it on in about 15 minutes tops. It was really easy to install and because it isn't permanent it will be really easy to remove and reinstall when needed. Also it looks really cool. But I would recommend getting the wind fairing because it does make a lot of noise without it.

ARB 2500

I've had my ARB 2500 for about 1 month now and this was one of the best purchases I have made for my truck thus far. Highly recommend for someone going solo or someone with a family.

You'll need four hands.

I consider myself a handy guy. I've assembled IKEA bunk beds, hung blinds, built stairs, cabinets. The Sidekick looked like a piece of cake. However, the instructions are in need of another go-round. Make the pictures bigger, Thule!! Also, to assemble the top piece to the bottom piece you really do need another person to help line up the hinges with the attaching hardware. That or turn yourself into The Rubber Band Man. Once the Sidekick is put together things get a tad easier.
