Rightline Gear Sport Jr. Car Top Carrier Reviews

Decent price/value for extra storage

Reviewed By KURT L (Pittsburgh, PA) Reviewed for a 2011 Volkswagen Golf —12/9/2013 7:07 AM

I bought this Sport Jr to save space in our trunk for our puppy. I don't have a rack for my Golf, and it was no issue with this carrier. I used the existing clips and 2 straps. I didn't buy the mat, but had some leftover carpet liner, which worked perfectly. No scratches No movement. It took some adjustment on the fly to reduce wind noise. But once done, it was quite quiet. Worked well for the 11 hr trip from PGH to Charlotte. My only complaint is the zipper. Doesn't feel too sturdy

Carry lots of camping gears

Reviewed By yanhui l (Niagara Falls, NY) Reviewed for a 2012 Volkswagen Golf —8/6/2013 8:50 PM

From the picture I thought it was a little bit small. Once I saw the package I found that I was wrong. This one can carry one 10 persons tent, 2 queen size air beds(the 20 inches height ones),2 sleeping bags and 3 folding chairs. It was awesome. Highly recommended to those campers.

Thule Sonic XL for a Town and Country

Reviewed By Ramiro C (Bryn Mawr, PA) Reviewed for a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country —6/30/2016 8:30 AM

Product arrived on the previously agreed timeline ( not many options to choose from) and with no defects Easy to handle. Don't have references of competitors to compare with but the product is nice and has good quality and finish. Almost unnoticeable while driving which was a positive surprise. Put it in anTown and Country and our average MPG in our trip to the Outer Banks fully loaded was 24 MPG. Capacity wise is what I expected. Relatively flat but you can put in there sport gear.Very happy
