Satisfied Customer

Reviewed By Sue D (Richardson, TX) Reviewed for a 1999 Volvo Wagon —9/8/2010 3:21 PM

My husband and I and our twin sons recently took a trip to west Texas and New Mexico. We drove in rain and 98 degree temps with our new PackRight, and it held up like a champ. We followed the suggestions of many of you and constructed a frame for the PackRight with 1 inch diameter PVC pipe. We were very glad we did this, because it provided needed structure and stability for the otherwise "limp" saddlebag. We took a picture of our license plate and taped it high on the back window for necessary visibility. Also inserted a plywood board in the bottom for rigidity. Thanks to all who gave these thoughtful tips. They made a world of difference, because the one "downside" of this carrier is that it lacks form and rigidity. Otherwise, we're very satisfied. sd

Sherpa Bag Reviews

Great Experience

Reviewed By Jason F (Stewartstown, PA) 2005 —9/6/2007 6:12 PM

I just completed a 1000 mile trip with the 15 cubic foot Sherpa Bag on top of my Volvo station wagon. It worked great; no problems of any kind. I didn't encounter poor weather, so I can't comment on water proofing. Only negative issue is security. You can't lock or secure the bag (besides locking the zipper tabs together), so you have to unload the bag each night. Great purchase.

Good Roof Top Bag 2012 Toyota Highlander

Reviewed By Joseph N (WICHITA, KS) Reviewed for a 2012 Toyota Highlander —9/9/2015 6:01 PM

I got the 8 cu ft black bag and was able to fit 3 carry on luggage into it though it was quite tight fit but not being a polymer box top it was able to expand and semi-mold to the luggage. That also attest to the quality of the zipper from not breaking under such strain. The only downside to the bag was the included cover did not tighten very well and constantly came undone at the front and the pinch cinch hit against the roof of the car which can get very annoying during long trips.
