Since the beginning, there've always been misguided sun worshipers out catching rays, as well as sun stroke. But as time went on, it was the intelligent, shade seekers who rose to the top of the evolutionary heap. Now, you can cement your own position at the top of the food chain with the ARB Awning.
Mounting to your vehicle's roof rack, the ARB car shade is always there when you need to shun the sun. It deploys in less than a minute, and the telescoping legs let you dial in just the right height. Plus, the included pegs and guy ropes make sure things stay shady, even in windy conditions.
Crafted from durable PVC-lined polyester fabric, this UV-protected roof rack awning keeps the elements at bay. What's more, when you're done soaking up the shade, it rolls up and stows safely away in a heavy-duty bag. That way it's fresh and ready to block the sun at a moment's notice. To top it off, ARB backs it with a 2-year warranty.

Very easy to set up and use. The awning in combination with the room is great and provides protection and privacy. Both held up well to rain, strong winds, and even snow on my most recent trip.

They are not very clear about how the awning mounts in different situations and there is no way of really knowing what comes with the basic package. After delivery, I had to order the universal brackets at additional cost. It was worth it. The brackets are very well built and worked very well. First time deployment of the awning went perfectly as advertised by myself. Whole job done in a couple hours. It was worth the effort to install. Ready to go and happy!!

-Definitely worth it getting the biggest one. -Heavy but built really well. -Aluminum supports. -Easy setup pull out bars. SIMPLE. But may need an extra hand. But willing you can do it yourself. I do. -Tie downs/Pegs. -The only con was the hookup. Had to find universal brackets that matched up (with the awesome help of the ARB personnel)...unfortunately the universal ones were like 20$ a piece. And mounting them onto my roof rack Was Not the funnest thing to do. But when I was done. Great!

Simple to put up, simple to take down. That's the 2 main things you want in a vehicle awning. It's sturdy too, so wind doesn't seem to bother it much. Got a great Black Friday deal on mine and shipping was fast. Highly recommend it!
