I am completely please with the product. The nice part is that they work with the factory roof rack, eliminating the additional expense.

Even working by myself, I had no problem attaching the hull-a-port to the factory rack on my minivan and getting my kayak (recreational type, 9.5 ft, 35 lbs) up onto the hull-a-port and securely fastened. The trick with the minivan is to use a stepstool. I have not driven much with it yet, but I did test it out and was impressed by how secure the kayak appears to be in the rack, even at highway speeds.

I have owned the Thule Hull-A-Port Carrier for 2 weeks and I am pleased to see how easy it is to load my 2 kayaks. My wife can load and unload her kayak with ease and without any assistance. The true test will be when we travel a long distance at the end of the summer. Thus far, we are pleased with the results.

Never had a cargo box before, so I was very pleased how quickly and easily it goes on. No assembly. Surprisingly no wind noise on the highway with an Atlantis 1600 on my Jetta. Smooth finish looks great.
