My husband was a little leery about buying a cargo bag instead of a cargo box. He was worried it wouldn't be sturdy enough. Well we drove from the northwest suburbs of Chicago to Panama City Beach, FL, and the bag shows no wear or tear. Lucky us, we did not have any rain going or coming home, so I can't say anything about whether it's waterproof or not. This bag is huge (we have the 18 cu ft one)! It held 2 extra large samsonite duffel/suitcases, 1 large suitcase, 10 beach towels, 2 beach chairs, and about 3 small bags. Once my husband figured out the straps the first time, the second time was much easier. It's definitely worth the money.

We were very happy with the Rhino Rack 2500. We ordered it late for a vacation when we realized we weren't going to have enough room for all our stuff. We looked at all the car part stores even bought one, got it home and it was junk!! So we ordered this and prayed it would get here in time...it did, got here even before we expected it might get here. It was easy to put on. We went through very strong winds on our vacation, it did great! It even looks good on the car. Not cheep looking like I've sseen. got home took it off and put it in the box for the next trip. The people on the phone that took my order was very helpful also, called to make sure it was in stock ect. It was a very good experience all the way around..:)

My wife forced me to drive the 17 hour trip with my son and his roommate for their second year of college. My son has a 2005 Mercury Mariner, so with three people and lots of luggage and other stuff, we hit the road loaded to the gills. The Thule Tahoe Roof Cargo Bag provided us with lots of extra storage space for a larger suitcase and two medium duffle bags and other smaller items. The Tahoe Roof bag held fast, quiet and secure for the entire trip and even did a good job of keeping the items dry during a 30 minute long down poor, although I suggest wrapping any items in the future in plastic bags to ensure 100% dryness. Now the Bag is stored neatly in the great looking carry bag in my garage. I am very pleased with this product.

I recently purchased the Inno Fairing to go along with my custom roof rack. It gave a great look to my ride and fit really well except for the center bracket (due to a bar on my rack). It cut down on wind noise, has slightly improved gas mileage, and seems to help my 4Runner track much better in the wind.

After searcing the web for a hitch carrier, I came across the Carpod. There is nothing else like it on the net. I was concerned with lashing items to a convential rack system, but the Carpod eliminates my worries. Works great for hauling dirty items, Firewood, muddy sports equip, Hunting & Fishing Game, etc. The optional locking cargo lid and bag are worth the extra cost.Dave
