High quality construction, MUCH better than I expected! The waterproffing interior seems to be able to do it's job with no problem. The ONLY downside IMO are the tie down straps. I'll be using my own straps to secure the load. Other than that,I am EXTREMELY happy with the carrier, AND AutoAnthing as well! Great company!!!!!!!

We purcased the carrier to use on a road trip. It served its purpose. The first time we installed the carrier it took quite a while. After that installation was quick and easy. One negative is that the fasteners are plastic. When we tightened the straps, one fastener broke into two pieces, making it unuseable. Overall, I would recommend this product for the price.

Perfect for the small Honda Fit

This car top carrier works perfectly, especially if you do not already have roof racks. We just threw this on top of the fit and strapped it through the front and back doors. It held like a dream and there is no noticeable noise. I can also fit 3 or 4 full sized suite cases in this and go.

It got me from point A to point B without any mishaps (about 2 hours of hwy driving). My car (an Aveo) was a little small for the straps, so it took me some time to figure out how to attach through the car (had to take out some of the nylon). It held a good amount of stuff though.

Reasonable alternative to roof rack install

We were unhappy to find that putting a roof rack on our van was going to cost >$1400. Not to mention that we felt like being charged for the nuts and bolts separately was a scam. So we were looking for some other alternative. Can't even express how excited I am that this car carrier is going to do exactly what we need for way, way less. I have already tested out the 'rackless' attachment and it holds great. Plus I love the fact that I can take off the entire carrier if I wanted!
