I WAS EXPECTING ZIPPERS RATHER THAN ROLL-IN CLOSURE, BUT THE CLOSURE SYSTEM WORKED VERY WELL. THIS IS A VERY STURDY, WEATHER-PROOF CARTOP CARRIER. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I went camping in my Honda CR-V and the PackRight Sport Jr. worked great. On the trip out I placed the mat I purchased with it a little too far forward, and the mat flapped up too much, until it rippled back several inches under the car top carrier. When I packed up for the return trip, I simply moved the mat a little bit back -- no more flapping noises and the mat stayed put, even at 60-65 MPH. Great product!

After downsizing to a smaller vehicle we had concerns on how to travel with our 2 kids and 2 large dogs. I read the reviews and price shopped and this product is by far the best I found. We fit luggage for 2 adults, 2 kids, plus some Black Friday shopping items and still had some room left over to snug down the straps. The bag conforms and items are able to be stuffed in rather than space constraints from rigid box cargo carriers. Highly recommend.

When I received the carrier I was worried that it was not going to be big enough, but it was PLENTY big enough for 5 people to put everything in to be gone for 10 days!! And, we actually had room left over! It holds more that it looks like it will. Very easy to pack and unpack, and I liked that it was easy to store when it was unloaded. The straps on the front made some noise travelling down the highway sometimes, but nothing too bad, and not all the time. I would give this carrier a definite "thumbs up". We did not encounter any rain, so I can't speak to the weatherproof qualities, but the carrier is good quality, so I would assume from our experience that the weatherproofing would work well also.

We drove from Maryland to Orlando, FL and packed clothes,shoes, etc for a family of 5. The Saddlebag worked great and freed space inside our truck for heavier items. We drove thru pouring rain and everything inside the bag was dry as a whistle. Installation wasn't the easiest at first; however, on our return trip we realized that if you attached it to the truck empty it was a breeze to install. We also used a piece of plywood to keep the bottom flat. At every rest stop we got stares and questions/comments from other travellers (all positive). We will be taking our daughter to college this weekend and it will be put to good use again. Worth every penny!
