Not yet installed - arrived defective.
Rear rack is great, perfect fit & finish. Front rack was missing a rubber boot that goes between the rack & my rails. Thule customer service very friendly, promised to send a replacement part. Part has not yet arrived after 10 - 11 days so can't install it yet. Looks promising however, and does not interfere with sunroof.
You'll need four hands.
I consider myself a handy guy. I've assembled IKEA bunk beds, hung blinds, built stairs, cabinets. The Sidekick looked like a piece of cake. However, the instructions are in need of another go-round. Make the pictures bigger, Thule!! Also, to assemble the top piece to the bottom piece you really do need another person to help line up the hinges with the attaching hardware. That or turn yourself into The Rubber Band Man. Once the Sidekick is put together things get a tad easier.
When I first decided to go this route, I was worried about the noise the bars would make; however, after an easy install and a test road trip along the 101 down to Ventura, I can honestly say that I didn't notice any difference at all - even with the sunroof open! I was originally going to go with a INNO cargo box, but after reading a lot of reviews, I ended up going with the Thule FORCE box instead. The aero bars are standard so you can mix and match which is nice. Very quiet, I recommend.
