Better MPG and throttle response

Reviewed By David P (HUNTSVILLE, AL) Reviewed for a 2015 GMC Sierra —10/24/2016 6:09 AM

I've had this installed now for about 3 weeks. Installation was very easy and the intake looks much cleaner than the chunky factory airbox and resonator. Improved throttle response was noticeable on the first drive - the truck just seemed to get going with less throttle input. Fuel economy is up 1-2 MPG for both my commute (mix of stop and go and highway) and for highway driving. Since I tend to keep my vehicles for several years (5-7+) this will definitely pay for itself.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel K&N Filter

Reviewed By orson m (new York, NY) Reviewed for a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee —10/23/2016 9:04 PM

The filter assembly was very straightforward, and took about 90 minutes, working slowly. Diagrams for instructions could use improvement as well as labeling of hoses. BUT, the increase in torque is substantial, and can be felt across the entire RPM band from 1000 to 4000 RPM. Marginal increase in noise but not intrusive in the least MPGs up about 2MPG highway. Very worthwhile I feel.
