Love the dry filter better than the oil.

My last Silverado (2010) I had the full CAI from Airaid and it performed well. When I bought my 2014 Silverado I did research and I found out that the Airaid MIT and drop in filter made more power than any other CAI on the market. So it was easy decision, save money by not buying the CAI and make more power than the competition!

I installed the Airaid MIT along with a free flowing air filter. Noticed an immediate gain in throttle response and midrange power. Only tradeoff is a minor rattle just above idle, caused by removing all the ugly resonance chambers in the stock tube. The quality of parts and instructions included were top notch. Unlike "cold air" kits, I do not have to worry about ingesting hot air when stopped or in traffic jams.
And, at the 2012 SEMA Show, Airaid had a new cold air intake on display for the 2013 Scion FR-S.
