2005 V10 Excursion

U172. Very easy to install. Entered the 87 octane performance tune into my 2005 V10 Excursion. Unable to determine the effects sice it was just installed. Unit lacks documentation on the operations, I am not sure what each tune will do and what is involved in a custom tune. I am somewhat disappointed to learn that there is not a tune for towing for the gas engines. That was one of the reasons I bought the tuner.

It's a little slow loading between pages, but other then that works well. Lots of options for customization and the ability to monitor several sensors

DiabloSport Predator P2 Tuner Reviews

Very Nice Tuner..

Reviewed By Dwain S (Argyle, TX) Reviewed for a 2000 Ford Excursion —10/20/2009 5:48 PM

I purchased the Diablo Predator tuner to get more mileage and power out of my 2000 Excursion with the 7.3 TD. It was easy to use out of the box with simple instructions. I first loaded the 40 hp tow mode. Performance was improved but shift quality was a bit firm for my use. I then loaded the 85 hp program and really felt the seat of the pants performance and liked the shift quality. I performed this update before I made a 2K mile trip to the rocky mountains. 1-2 miles better fuel economy and a rocket on the road. No problems passing other vehicles at 75-80 mph or climbing intense mountain grades. Highly recommended Dwain
