Edge Evolution Programmer Reviews

Could not be happier

Reviewed By Troy K (STAFFORD, VA) Reviewed for a 2000 Ford F-350 —10/10/2012 8:32 PM

I wanted gauges, specifically a pyrometer for EGts and Transmission Fluid Temp. I also wanted something to firm up shifting when I tow a fifth wheel. I called Edge before purchasing this product and they informed me that the Evolution did adjust the shift points. So for far less than I would have spent on a gauge pod and a separate programmer I have this. I have only used it on the Level 1 Tow setting and have noticed an immediate improvement in pickup around town.

More Power

Reviewed By Richard S. N (Waterbury, CT) Reviewed for a 2000 Ford F-350 —8/2/2008 3:12 PM

I have had the engine (Powerstroke) tuned to the "A" program for a little over a week. There is a definite power increase at higher rev's (over 2100 rpm, approximately). I am in the process of checking fuel economy. If I can pick up 2 or 3 miles to the gallon with the increased power and torque, I'll be one happy camper. I was getting 10.5 mph towing a 10,500 lb fiver and about 14 mpg solo. My truck is a crew cab dually, four wheel drive which I've had for 6 years. I will post my results in a couple of weeks with the info. So far, it looks good.
