If you have this truck with the 5.4, you will take any improvements you can get on these windy, hilly roads in SE Ohio. Tested truck repeatedly on a 3/4 mile hill with a 8% grade, driving as though I would normally unloaded using 93 octane. Stock from stop: 3900RPMs at 31 mph, no acceleration available without downshift VS Performance: 3100RPM at 37 mph and accelerated without changing gears. Mileage XS gets about 1mpg better. Heavy towing setting make huge difference with 10000lbs. Worth it!

I have had the engine (Powerstroke) tuned to the "A" program for a little over a week. There is a definite power increase at higher rev's (over 2100 rpm, approximately). I am in the process of checking fuel economy. If I can pick up 2 or 3 miles to the gallon with the increased power and torque, I'll be one happy camper. I was getting 10.5 mph towing a 10,500 lb fiver and about 14 mpg solo. My truck is a crew cab dually, four wheel drive which I've had for 6 years. I will post my results in a couple of weeks with the info. So far, it looks good.
