Hypertech Max Energy Programmer Reviews

Jim's 07 F150

Reviewed By James F (Prescott Valley, AZ) Reviewed for a 2012 Ford Mustang —10/3/2007 10:19 AM

I have an 07 F150 with the 5.4L Triton V8. The shifts had a hesitation and the best mileage I got was 16.5 mpg. The performance was less than I wanted from this motor. After installing the Max Energy Programmer, the shifts were firm and there was alot more power on tap. As an added bonus my mileage went up to 18+ mpg. And this was with the regulare fuel setting. I towed my horse trailor up hill with no problem. Great product, easy installation and outstanding performance.

DiabloSport In tune I2 on 3.7L Ti-VCT 2015 Mustang

Very happy with my first experience with a tuner. Despite some negative reviews the tuner updated easily on my computer. Install went well and worked as advertised. Noticeable improvement in shift point, improved THROTTLE response, especially with paddle shifters. 93 octane tune provides a noticeable improvement. Stock program backed up on the handheld as advertised.

2010 F150 & 2008 Mustang GT.....

Before anything - go to website and update the programmer... Didn't work on my F150 - an error code + call tech....Online follow-up - they want you to send them the unit for updates... It did however work as described for my GT. Site does not explain how to do multi cars while storing the stock settings.
