K&N 69 Series Typhoon Intake Systems Reviews

As expected.

Reviewed By Eric A (Fort Myers, FL) Reviewed for a 2011 Mini Cooper —2/9/2015 8:43 PM

Installed this to get rid of the stock paper filter and for the looks of the intake. Power gains are minimal, car feels like it revs a little more freely though. Switching away from stock air box gives a nice wastegate sound that was previously muffled, always worth a grin.

AEM Cold Air Intake System Reviews

Mini Cooper S AEM Cold Air Intake

Reviewed By Rhys W (APO, AE) Reviewed for a 2009 Mini Cooper —1/31/2015 8:25 AM

AEM makes quality products, that is why I chose to use this system for my car. I did not have my car put on a Dyno machine to see the HP/power increase but I do feel it in the daily driving. This system was easy to install and should take less than one hour if this is your first attempt of putting new equipment on your car.

Borla Exhaust Systems Reviews

Loving the Exhaust on my MCS

Reviewed By Michael M (MADISON, WI) Reviewed for a 2004 Mini Cooper —1/3/2015 12:47 PM

Borla does not send a new gasket for the connection to Cat/flange. Cut the old exhaust about a foot back from the flange to the Cat. You can then pull the Cat and flange to one side to get an angle grinder in to cut the bolts on the flange. 10 year old car in Wisconsin is going to have badly rusted bolts. The Borla Exhaust is great. Easy to put together and the sound is awesome.
