Looks like a high quality part. Hardest part of install was figuring out how to disconnect connector to mass airflow sensor. Pull out white piece then squeeze the top and bottom and pull off gently. Without going to the track it's hard to tell if it makes a difference in more power. The motor does seem to rev. up more freely. In my opinion the cold air kit K&N makes for this car would be a waste of money. The stock setup with this replacement filter, I'm willing to bet has the same or better airflow. After all the stock filter assembly is the same in the LS7 Z06 motor making 505hp and it has the paper filter also. With the K&N sale and free shipping it cost less than a paper filter replacement.
