"I like the overall quality and look of the covers. The width is especially good. The only feature which I am not happy with is the length of the plastic tabs which anchor the cover. The tabs are inserted between the car window and the door housing. They are not long enough resulting in the cover coming off if the dog pulls at the cover too much or if the window is rolled all the way down and they back up."

"I take my husky with me a lot. He gets really excited when we get to the park or other places he likes to go. He gets so excited that he scratches at the door until I let him out. I was afraid that he would rip the upholstery in my car. The Canine Covers Pet Door Shields have eliminated this worry. They arrived very quickly and were extremely easy to install."

"I was surprised and pleased at how the door covers secure to the car doors. They also provide enough support for my dog that she can stabilize herself on the door and put her head out of the window. These covers are simple to put in and take out and big enough to cover most of the door."

"THESE COVERS WORKED GREAT I HAVE TWO BOXERS THAT TRAVEL IN THE BACK SEAT OF MY 2500 HD P-U. THEY SLOBBERS ALL OVER THE COVERS. I TOOK THEM OFF HOSED THEM OFF AND THEY LOOK BRAND NEW."

"I was disappointed at the quality of the covers for the price. Tabs were made of cardboard and if you have a convertible, they have a tendency to fly off with the wind. The material is not quite what I had expected but was easy to use. For the price not a good value!"

"I had a pretty hard time getting these in my tight sealed Lexus window slots. (Toyota and Lexus would both be tricky.) The size is pretty good. There is nothing to keep them down when the door is open when it is windy. Sometimes they get caught up in the door, blocking the window completely, when the door is closed. Might need some velcro or weight along the bottom to resolve this. They could also use more padding for added pet safety."

"These are great. They were a little difficult to attach at first but I finally made it happen. I would like to see them extended the length of the door with a way to have them attached to the sling I already have that protects the seats, but as they are, they are doing the job perfectly. "These door shields are perfect. Now my dog can ride in his favorite position (front legs on armrest and head out the window) without damaging/soiling my door panel. I am constantly rolling my windows up and down (for my dog) and the door shields stay in place and don't scratch the windows. They're also extremely easy to install and remove."

"I searched all over for a product like this and finally found this one at Auto Anything. I have a 2007 Tahoe and purchased the black 26" covers. The size of the covers is perfect, the installation is easy, and the fit is secure. The price of these covers is worth the protection for the doorpanel and armrest against the claws of my two dogs. Dealing with Auto Anything was great too."

"I've got a 2008 Scion XB, and ordered the larger size. They were just long enough to fit over the arm rest on the door. I had a little trouble fitting the plastic strips into the window slot. They'll stay in place as long as the window isn't down all the way. They were cheaply made, but I don't have scratches on my door!!!"

"These are an ok item. They fit perfectly, the color looks good with the interior of my car and I think had the cover actually stayed in place while the window was down and traveling faster than 40 mph that they would work great. I'm not sure if the problem comes from my dog going back and forth from window to window or from the covers not being either weighted or having longer tabs to put in between the door and window. I think I am going to try and modify them like one of the other reviews I read by putting holes it the tabs and using suction cups to attach them to the window. A great idea but it needs some improvement."

Great but needs constant adjusment

"This product is durable, easy to install and covers the door well. My pets know how to slide it over so they can get their paws on the door so I had to attach an extra side of it to my seat hardware. It will also almost blow out the window with all the windows down. Just push it back in place whenever you get in and out of the car, or rig it down like I did and you'll be fine. Best solution out there and looks great."
