The door shields were a perfect fit for our truck's rear windows. They slid right into place and fit perfectly from side to side, and extended well below the door handle. There's a little slippage when rolling the window up and down, but nothing that our large standard poodles can't push back down as they feel the wind on their faces! So far, our doors are drool free! We (and they) love the shields!

I think the product would work very well for a small dog, but, our German Short-haired Pointer (GSP) was strong (and persistent) enough to pull these door protectors out from the window in a matter of minutes. He likes to stand on the armrest and that natural movement pulled down on the door protectors and pulled them out.

I was a little disappointed because the mat does not stay in well and is just as slippery as the window frame. My dog likes to place its paws on the window frame and put its head out the window because the window frame is plastic and the seats are leather she had a hard time getting a grip and I was afraid she would scratch up the window area so I purchased these thinking she would get a better grip. Not the case she still slides and the whole shield slides into a bunch.

worked ok but just need to take a few minutes to determine exactly where the tabs go in your window channel - i didn't think they would work in my 12 Acadia but after looking closer found they would but just needed to slide the tabs down in the correct location.

I just bought a new Acura MDX and I have 3 rat terriers who go everywhere with me. I wanted to protect my new car and I read up on several different brands of door shields. According to other reviews this seemed to be the best. I purchased them and couldn't be happier. The windows go up and down with no problem and all three of the dogs can look out the window with no problem and dont scratch my new car.

The shields work ok for small dogs or dogs that are well behaved. They do not work for larger breeds like Labs that may be more excitable. They also tend to come out of place if the windows are down. Did not work as well as expected.
