These things fly up and all over the place if any windows in the vehicle are open - I had to pull over to pick one off the road. My reason for getting these is because my dog likes the wind in his face - kind of hard to do that if I can't keep the windows open. I'll modify them myself. I would not recommend these to a friend.

It was as advertised but doesn't stay where it is supposed to. Had a little trouble getting it installed until I figured it out. It does do the job though. My little dog has really sharp nails and it has stood up well.

Purchased to protect the interior of our new car from our active dog. She loves to stand on the window sill for the view since she's short. This keeps the interior finish on the doors from looking like I transported a "wildcat". In conjunction with a seat cover, this will keep the back seat looking like new. Must have for dog rides.

The door shields were a perfect fit for our truck's rear windows. They slid right into place and fit perfectly from side to side, and extended well below the door handle. There's a little slippage when rolling the window up and down, but nothing that our large standard poodles can't push back down as they feel the wind on their faces! So far, our doors are drool free! We (and they) love the shields!

I think the product would work very well for a small dog, but, our German Short-haired Pointer (GSP) was strong (and persistent) enough to pull these door protectors out from the window in a matter of minutes. He likes to stand on the armrest and that natural movement pulled down on the door protectors and pulled them out.

I was a little disappointed because the mat does not stay in well and is just as slippery as the window frame. My dog likes to place its paws on the window frame and put its head out the window because the window frame is plastic and the seats are leather she had a hard time getting a grip and I was afraid she would scratch up the window area so I purchased these thinking she would get a better grip. Not the case she still slides and the whole shield slides into a bunch.
