Description

Your four-legged friend always gets excited about cruising around town in the back seat. But, keeping both her and your upholstery safe at the same time is tricky business. Most pet seat covers simply cover up the upholstery, leaving the gap between the rear and front wide open. One hard stop or misstep is all it takes to send Odie flying down to the floorboards in a whimpering heap. Protect both your interior and your pet’s wellbeing with the DogAbout Rear Seat Protector.

Like a hammock for the back of your ride, the DogAbout Rear Seat Protector creates a seamless, secure covering that spans from the rear headrests up to the front headrests. Now, your little scamp can romp, roll and ruff-ruff all without the danger of taking a tumble. And, you never have to worry about costly scratches, slimy drool puddles or stinky accidents on your seats.

Thanks to its triple-layer design, the DogAbout Rear Seat Protector is as durable as it is comfortable. It’s constructed from a top layer of wear-resistant micro-suede, a quilted poly filler core, and a water-repellent poly bottom. Plus, it’s equipped with a center zipper, so you can lower half the DogAbout Rear Seat Protector when you have extra passengers. It also comes with a 1-year warranty.

Our 8+ DogAbout Rear Seat Protector customer reviews have an average rating of 4.50 out of 5 stars. To see specific reviews about your vehicle, please select your year, make and model from the drop down above.

Dog About-It helps out some

The seat protector fit rather well, and seems to be made of decent material. I wish the part going across the front seat was more rigid. My dog is able to get over into the front seat. All in all, I am glad I bought it.

It is what I hoped for but the zipper has no lock so it is always unzipping. I have to use a large safety pin to keep it zipped. Otherwise a I am very happy with it.

I spent a considerable amount of time researching for a backseat cover and this product fits the bill perfectly. My brand new Chevy Cruze is now protected from my 50lb Bulldog. Fits well, looks good and macine washes like new!

The DogAbout Rear Seat Protector would be great if it was just a little wider. It doesn't extend all the way to the edge of the seat and the dog has a way of moving around so it slips further from the edge and then the dog is mostly on the seat when next to the window, which of course, is most of the ride. Maybe it would slip less on clothe seats, I have leather. Otherwise the product is OK.

I've had several hammock-type seat protectors for my trucks and this is the best one yet -- best fit, easiest to install and remove for cleaning, etc. Seems to be well-made and sturdy as well.

Good looking, works great, protects the back seat of my new MINI. I love it!! My big dog likes it too...she doesn't fall to the floorboards when I have to stop quickly/unexpectedly.

The seat protector works well and I bought another one for my other vehicle. Even in our full size car, it covers the entire seat. The center zipper is a good feature to let air circulate into the seat. Installation is very easy. Very good product!

This seat cover is great! The zipper allows half the seat to be used by a passenger and the other half for a pet. I cut a hole and sewed the edges to allow for the seatbelt to be accessable which made it perfect. Dog hair vacums off easily. Great value for the money.

Hi Jan. Most cars and truck are close to the same with inside of the cab so a universally sized 54” long and 55” wide tend to fit most applications.

Split bench cover

I lower one side of the back seat to accomodate my large dog. This allows my son to sit in the one back seat, and the remaining area is flat along with the back cargo area. Is there an option available to cover a split bench? I have a 2012 Ford Escape.

Is this washable and does the dog hair come off during washing since it has a suede top layer?

Hello Nancy. Yes, the DogAbout Rear Seat Protector is washable. The hair will come off most easily if you brush it off with either a lint brush or a rubber grooming brush. Both will pick up the hairs and make it easier to clean. Thank you for your question.

flexability

Can this seat cover be rotated so the zipper can zip down from the top instead of the bottom to allow one side of split bench seat to be lowered without compromising the other side of the cover?
