Better than Caltrend IMHO

I have had both brands of seat covers (On two different vehicles)and I needed to replace my Caltrend covers first, thus this purchase. I feel that the Coverking are better fitting. It seemed that the Caltrend skimped on fabric, resulting in them slipping off and fraying at seams more easily. I think the clips are stronger on Coverking as well. I had to get replacement clips for the Caltrend. We will see how the new covers hold up. My existing ones for a Tacoma pick up are holding up well.

These seat covers are more function than fashion. They are tough and necessary considering the amount of abuse my leather seats take. They fit well but not perfectly. With that being said they are easier to install than I expected. Overall I'm happy with them and would recommend these covers.

Tough to install

Great product, but install was much tougher than flexible & stretching covers on video. I'm convinced the covers for the head rests (rear seat of 2017 Subaru Impreza 5i) we not made for these headrests - especially the center rest - extremely difficult to install with not allowance for the beltholder on center rest. Additionally, on the lower seat cover, there was not slit or access to the cushion rear mounting bars, and I fear the seat may come lose.

Several production delays; instructions generic/minimal. Approx 3 hrs to install. Tuck tool incl very necessary. Stretch straps on ft seats impossible to hook & unneeded anyway. Holes for headrests punched out w/no edging. Poor alignment of rear seat egress holes for child car seat straps. rear seat pull down console cover(s) poor design & fit. Useless. Two strange triangular pieces included w/no apparent use. Fabric feels slippery, but is not.Overall fit is OK but utilitarian.

Extremely hot here in Florida. Not really a good time to install seat covers. Front row went on fairly quick, except for passenger seat that seat top opens. Took bolts of seat and did not need to. Finally found way to feed short straps to meet longer straps. Second row was difficult because sliding tracks have never been used and seats did not want to cooperate. Took awhile but everything fits well. Third row was fun because bottom seat would not move and there was no clearance for straps

Don't waste your money.

Poor quality. Poor fit. Quality control is an a obvious weak point at Coverking. No two headrests were alike. Seat backs fit fair. Seat bottoms are not even close. Loose fit and cutout for seat height adjustment is way off. The canvas also seems to be of poor quality. Think gym bag from Walmart. Quality and fit are similar to universal fit seat covers you'd buy at Autizone.

fair product

FThe back seat covers arrived 1 month before the front seat covers did. The Velcro straps on the bottom of the seats were barely sown on. I had to re-sow them in order to put the covers on tight. for the price I was charged for these covers, one would think they would arrive at the same time, and be of better quality.

These covers are heavy duty! I am no longer worried about getting the interior dirty.
