Nice Cover - Slow delivery

Reviewed By Andy B (Fond Du Lac, WI) Reviewed for a 2011 Ford Escape —3/19/2015 4:37 AM

Covers do fit my 2011 Ford Escape well, and as expected. I've only had them a 2 weeks, so I cannot comment on longevity. They do seem durable, and made from nice material. I was very disgusted with the lead time. Took 5 weeks to get to my door step.

I Can't Believe It's Not Leather

First of all, these seat covers are great! The cloth material my car came with gets spotted with the least touch. My dog, Roxy, goes almost everywhere with me, and this meant I was constantly cleaning them. It is difficult to get out all the spots when cleaning and very time-consuming. I only bought front covers because of a tight budget, and I usually keep the back seats down so Roxy has a comfortable place to ride with me. After they are installed, it is very difficult to tell these covers from factory seats. The sales rep told me that they "fit like a glove" and they certainly do. Buyer be aware however, the video showing the woman installing them is a little bit too simplistic. It is not all that easy. She is installing a cover on a seat that is NOT in the car. It took me about an hour to put them on pushing, pulling and prodding. In order to make the velcro meet, I needed something to help me so I used a set of pliers to carefully pull it through the back of the seat. Getting the cover under the plastic frame around the seat required more than just a push with my fingers. I needed something thin enough to push it in and the best thing I could find was a putty knife. That made me a bit nervous because I didn't want to cut the seat cover and, working very carefully, I did it without damaging the fabric. One of the headrest covers had some stitching loose, but I tucked it under to hide it. Right now I can't fit it into my budget but when I can I would like to buy some for the back seat because I really think they are better than the seats the car came with.

Seat covers review

The seat covers that we got for our 2011 Ford Escape fit great and look good. The only drawback is the straps that go under the seats to keep the covers in place are too long but we tied knots in them and they work fine. The instructions also could use some updating and a little more information.
