I previously had these seat covers on a 97 Silverado pickup with bucket seats and loved them. They kept the grease from work off of my tan velour interior and removed easily to machine wash and air dry while I took a trip. They showed normal wear on the side of the drivers seat after approx. 7 years of use and the interior looked brand new when I sold the truck. The second set was purchased for our daughters 97 Taurus GL to cover some cracked leather seats. I chose these because of my previous experience. The Taurus has plastic covers on the side of the seat and the seat cover would cover these and the recline lever if stretched over the side covers. I tried to tuck the seat cover behind the trim and cut one of the cords on the seat adjusting mechanism trying to keep the controls accessible. I am waiting to see how the cords hold to normal use and if I will be replacing them in the future. Have been on the car for about 1 month now. The photo sent for the review shows the covers over the trim on the side of the seat. If you can live with this, this is an extremely durable cover. If you have power controls and want easy access, you may need to make some modifications.
