Covercraft SeatSaver Canvas Seat Covers Reviews

Great looks; great fit

Reviewed By Kris C (Surprise, AZ) Reviewed for a 2007 Honda Ridgeline —6/12/2012 5:45 AM

The back seat on my 2007 Honda Ridgeline will now be protected from the toenails of my 105-lb dog, and it will look great, too! I had bought another cover from a pet-supply company, and, while it was made of heavy material and seemed durable, it did not fit my seat; as a matter of fact, it couldn't be installed even close to properly. I was apprehensive about spending even more money for this CoverCraft cover, and called AutoAnything's customer service, who assured me that, if I gave them the right year, make, and model of my vehicle, that the covers would fit. I'm here to tell you that these covers do, indeed, fit, and they fit quite well. I have actual separate pieces for each of the two outboard headrests, the 40% seat, the 60% seat, the entire seat-back, and the fold-down armrest/cup-holder. Each piece is securely held on, either with hook-and-loop fasteners, elastic, nylon straps & buckles, or some combination thereof. This impressed me, as well as how well each piece fit. I was also impressed that I am able to use all three of the seatbelts with the cover installed. The folks designing and assembling the patterns really do know their jobs. At first, I was disappointed that the center headrest had no cover (note that in the Honda Ridgeline, the center headrest is able to be lowered to where its top edge is flush with the top of the seatback when not in use), but then I realized that, since I don't actually have anyone sitting in the center seat except for very rare occasions, this wouldn't be a problem. On those rare occasions when I will need to use the center headrest, I can extend it without removing the seatcover, just by sliding it past the top back seam of the cover. True, it will not be covered during use, but I'm buying this CoverCraft cover to protect my leather seat from dogs, not to cover up something ugly. As indicated in the instructions, I made further adjustments after the covers were in place and used for several days, and they now look even better than when I first instal

I was a little skeptical at first as they aren't the normal form fitting cover we are used to. After using them for a couple weeks I actually like them better.

They truly are ballistic, and that's why I bought them . I wanted something that would hold up to water and wear and tear. I would purchase them again.
