classy

when I bought my new car, all they had in stock was cloth seats..I don't care for cloth, just leather..when I priced leather for my car which is a very small car, it was astronomical to be installed..so I went looking for something similar and found the leatherette covers..expecting them to be cheap looking, I was very surprised to see that they are a well made and good looking option for my car and easy to install..I love them!

Reasonable Expectations

Reviewed By ryan b (Altamonte Springs, FL) Reviewed for a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse —4/5/2010 5:38 AM

Purchased for a 96 Eclipse to fit bucket seats with high side bolsters. The leatherette covers were loose through the center where I expected. The pleather is a good copycat but nothing beats real leather. A good cheap substitute for real leather.

Making the Old New Again

Reviewed By Bruce V (PENSACOLA, FL) Reviewed for a 2000 Toyota Celica —4/21/2018 5:43 AM

The old leather on my driver's seat was badly split and I needed to do something because otherwise the vehicle is in great shape with low mileage. The options were to go to a local car shop where they quoted $700 for each of the front seats or shop for some classy seat covers to match the original leather. The Cal Trend covers look great and almost match the fit of the original. And they cost way less than re-upholstering!
