CalTrend "I Can't Believe It's Not Leather" Seat Covers Reviews

Looks like real leather but doesnt feel like it

Reviewed By Reinier P (Hialeah, FL) Reviewed for a 2005 Nissan Sentra —6/12/2012 8:47 PM

These seat covers were pretty simple to install with the great installation videos found on this site. The customer service team from CalTrend is very friendly and helpful as well, they answered some questions that I had very quickly. I ordered a pair of bucket seat seat covers and the seat covers for the bench seat. The installation was very simple and I loved how the seat covers had cut outs for the controls on the side of the bucket seats. The bench seat cover was also specifically cut to match my vehicle which made me really happy because I had tried other seat covers before and the competitors seat covers didnt fit very well because the bench seat on my car has built in headrest. I also loved how the bucket seat covers have a pocket in the back to store stuff, the original seats didnt have that. The color of the seat covers looks really nice too, it goes very well with the interior of my car and looks like real leather. Now that I have said all the good stuff its time for the stuff that I didnt like about these covers. The material looks like real leather but it certainly doesnt feel like real leather, it grips on to you when you sit on it, it feels rough, and doesnt feel as comfortable as real leather. The headrest covers also dont cover up the headrest completely, they leave an opening around the bottom where the velcro is located. The price might also be a turn off for some people but I purchased it when it was on special and I think I got a pretty good deal because these seat covers will be alot easier to clean up then my regular cloth seats and they look alot better. Overall I think it was a good investment though, I would definately recommend this product.

2010 Chevrolet Silverado split bench seat

Reviewed By Donald C (Forest, VA) Reviewed for a 2010 Chevy Silverado —8/14/2015 8:50 PM

Seat backs easy to install, but the the seat bottoms hard to get the straps secured, especially with powered seats. One trick is to use a coat hangar, poke it under the seat and loop the buckle on the hangar and pull the strap under the seat. Also, there are several covers for the different styles of consoles, so don't panic when you open the box. Will probably order for the rear seats.

Ok could be better.

Reviewed By June H (CARTERSVILLE, GA) Reviewed for a 1997 Volvo 850 —8/8/2015 5:03 AM

I purchased these seat covers for my 1997 850 Volvo. The seat covers fit the seats very well but the headrest leave a lot of room for improvement. I did remove the headrest for instillation. The headrests look a mess. The seats look great.
