Instructions lacking

Reviewed By David H (Chambersburg, PA) Reviewed for a 2009 Pontiac Vibe —1/17/2012 4:33 PM

The instructions are very generic. In the case of my model it did not tell me to reach under the seats and disconect the factory seatback trim panel. Had to call Caltrend for help. In addition there was no way to fasten the velcro on the new seatback together after getting it on the seat. According to Caltrend they needed to send me some additional velcro to fasten seat covers to to the factory seatback trim panel. Afer all that everything went fine. New seat cover material is very good but fit is a little loose. Not as described in photo. For the price they could be a little more "custom fit".

Stitching

The overall appearance & performance are great! Putting them on was a challenge. The arm rests didn't go on without ripping where the hinge is. The sewing around the Velcro and edges looks bad holding in your hands, but that isn't seen when installed. Seat bottom cover edges were loose, I took off my seat molding & tucked in the sides.

Awesome covers, take time to install them right

Reviewed By Boyd Z (Sparks, NV) Reviewed for a 2015 Subaru Forester —11/19/2014 8:29 PM

The only downfall (and I mean the ONLY downfall) is the REAR bottom seat cover is very difficult to understand installation. There are some variants in the Forester that do not include a flip up bottom, and that is mine. After some looking on the internet, I found there was a couple of clips just under the front lip of the bottom seat rear seat. Then some finesse and know how got it on. These are a very tight fit, which is excellent btw. Materials are the most durable I have ever seen.
