I have a 110 lb. Labrador. When he hops into or out of or moves around on the cover, the front edge comes up on the seat leaving the leather exposed. I solved it by buying two, expandable. 1" x 24" straps with large hooks on each end and hooking one end under the female seat belt acceptor and the other under the front of the seat. Cost was $7.
