Beautiful covers, but not as custom-fit as I'd hoped

I wanted to protect the new upholstery with the comfiest cover I could get: sheepskin, in luxurious black. It's almost as soft as lambskin, but hopefully a lot sturdier. My husband installed them; it took a couple of hours, and a decent amount of hand and arm strength. The holes for the headrests were not quite in the correct position. One elastic strap for the drivers seat goes over a control which is a bit annoying, but I still love the covers.
I am trying to return them - the fit is terrible!

while the quality of the sheepskin may be nice, the fit on my Saab 9-5 is terrible. The basic issue is getting them to fit.. the headrest holes are too far forward, and the seat bottoms will not fit without taking the entire seat out of the car.
