Not difficult to install and very quiet while driving. Even though it is a little expensive, you will be glad you spent the money

I just got back from a week long snow ski trip in Colorado and this rack worked perfectly. I was able to attach 3 skis, 3 pairs of poles, and a snowboard to the rack with zero problems. I am especially happy with the mounting system as it can be affixed to wide aerobar style roof racks.
