This is a great ski and snowboard rack that makes loading and unloading easy. Thule is a little more expensive than some other racks so I gave it 4 stars on price/value. I also gave 4 stars on quality, only because the first rack I received was defective on arrival (one would not slide) but it was returned and the new rack works great.

This was great, it fit 4 snowboards with no problem! I never had to worry about my snowboards moving around or falling off my car. It was really easy to attach to my car too. Only thing is that it's not the nicest looking roof rack. I have a really small car and this roof rack just looks rediculous on it. But it gets the job done.

An overall "Excellent!" Easy to use and install with the following exception. I installed the unit on a 2011 Subaru Outback with articulating cross bars. The bars are curved in the horizontal plane (left to right), thus causing the PullTop to be ever so slightly bowed after installation. This bowing causes asymmetrical pressure to be induced upon the sliding portion of the PullTop when loading or unloading skis, thus causing a slight drag. Inclusion of rubber spacers, for insertion between the upper locking clamps and the cross bars, with the PullTop should alleviate this issue.

I was able to finely put the rack on our SUV, we received the Thule Rack a week before the holiday 2-week stretch started, Fed-Ex put the box by our door and rang the bell and left, I opened the door just in time to see pull way, I picked up the box and found the top of the box totally open, and the mounting kit missing, I called Auto Everything right away, and they said they would get hold of Thule and have the mont kit sent to me, the mount kit came on Friday January 2, at the end of our 2-week holiday travel, so needless to say we did not get to use the rack during that time were we traveled to 2-ski areas.

This Thule rack although a little pricy than others that I have shopped, its overall construction is solid, very easy to install, operate and its capability to slide in/out makes it real easy to load/unload skis and snowboards. The lever that keeps the rack from sliding in/out felt a bit light-duty, needs to operate it with some gentleness in my opinion; otherwise, be careful when you load/unload your skis/snowboards try not to lean on your van/SUV too much to prevent your jacket zipper from scratching the paint...
