ProZ Leather Sport Grip Steering Wheel Cover Reviews

Great item!

The ProZ is a great cover and is easier to get on the wheel after you have left it out in the sun to soften it. Then I put the top on first and stretched the lower bottom part out toward the dash and bent the cover towards the wheel to open up the cover. It was close to impossible until I worked that technique....now it fits like a glove!

Built for the long hall, the best there is.

This is my second Dash Designs steering wheel grip. My first one is a different style and is three years old and would probably go three more years. When you put on a dash designs grip cover you would swear they sent the wrong size, they fit that tight and require no lacing. My Miata takes the smallest size. I'm keeping my first one in a box for later use, probably much later.

Some advice...

Reviewed By Jamie B (MESA, AZ) Reviewed for a 2016 Honda Accord —10/12/2017 7:57 PM

I had to install mine twice because the holes used to thread the skin can be very hard to distinguish between the perforated sections on the black skin. I enlarged the holes before the second install, helped very much. Be sure to count the holes in the rear of a spoke when skipping in the front so you match up exactly. If you don't you'll end up with extra leather bunched up. Take your time, enlarge holes first and count stitches and it should go ok. My 2nd time around was much easier.

How to Install a Steering Wheel Cover

Thanks to constant use, one of the first places in your interior to get gummed up and to show wear and tear is the steering wheel. Even after cleaning, it’s hard to cover up that black hand goo and any wear spots. So what’s a discerning driver to do when faced with the grungy steering wheel? Cover it, that’s what. And, if you’re wondering how to install a steering wheel cover, you’re in the right spot.
