"Guess I'm slow, but it took be the better part of two hours to get mine on, (09 Honda Civic EX), but wow! Talk about time well spent.
Looks great, feels great, and leather? What can you say? It just looks better with time! I,m certain that after a few months of breaking in that it will look even better!
Soooo much better then stock, has a great feel, this is a great upgrade, I just wish I was brave enuff to get one in Red instead of Black, but still - Highly Recommend A+++!"

"the cover i got for my nissan nx fit perfectly, looks great and feels nice. takes a while to thread it on and be careful not to cut to close to knot when you cut off thread. i cut it to close, knot unraveled and i had to join more thread and retie."

"Purchased a Wheelskin cover for my Camry. Took me just over an hour to lace it on. It is smooth and tight...perfect. I've purchased a second Wheelskin for my son-in-laws birthday and will probably order more for other family members. A great product."

Totally pleased with it."

"I always bought the inexpensive standard auto-parts-store steering wheel covers in the past but I thought I'd splurge on my new-to-me Highlander so I ordered a charcoal gray leather wrap. What a huge difference it made! It takes a little patience to install but it's worth the effort. It gives the vehicle a luxury feel. Recently I got back into my wife's car that still has a vinyl cover and I was surprised how cheap it feels. I guess I'll be ordering another Wheelskins Cover soon."

"The quality of the leather is really top notch and is definitely worth the extra money compared to other products. The tactile qualities are superior. Threading the wheel cover does take a little bit of work and a bit more patience but the end result will be plenty rewarding. If you are looking for serious quality, then this is the wheel cover to get!"

"Thought this steering wheel with its larg or wide spoaks would give it a less than professional look but it came out great and now my wheel is not slick plastic. Wish I would have done it on my 2002 F 250 Super Duty."

"I was surprised as to the quality of the leather and the way the cover fit on my vehicle. This is a nice product. I had a little trouble pulling tight enough when I was stitching the cover onto the steering wheel. I did NOT follow the instructions and where some type of protective covering on my hands. Therefore, I ended up with a couple of cuts and that caused me not to be able to finish the job as tightly as I would have liked. I emailed customer service and asked for another bolt of thread so I could repair my mistake. They would not let me pay for it. The thread showed up at my door in three days. NOW THAT IS SERVICE. Don't hesitate, buy this product. It is the best I have seen."

"The cover was easy to put on and is very OEM-looking. Just remember to wear gloves or band-aids on your fingers to prevent being stuck by the needle or blisters/cuts from pulling the string tight. Took about 1.5 hours to install on my Toyota Venza."

Good quality wheelskin cover

"After 10 years of use, my steering wheel started to deteriorate and I decided to look into purchasing a leather wheelskin cover. I found this one and I quite pleased. The color matches the interior, the leather is of good thickness and provides excellent feel to the touch.
I would have given it an Excellent rating except for the fact that it was a bit too tight and I could not close a 5 inch gap when lacing the wheelskin on (I tried loosening and retightening several times which reduced the gap but did not fully close it). It is just a minor appearance issue which no one has noticed (except for me!).
I would definitely recommend this wheelskin cover to others."

"I purchased this for my 2002 Taurus. Feels good and glad that I added it. I was unable to draw the two seams together with the thread on the upper half of the wheel, so there is a small gap where the laces are located. If I were to do it again, I might try using a leather stretching product or just soaking the Whellskin with water to get a bit more stretch from the leather during the lacing process. TIme to install was one to one and a half hours."

"I installed the wheelskin on my Miata in about 45 minutes.
It looks and feels great and seems like it will last for years. Be careful you don't drop the needle - thread it over a table before you bring it into the car. Pull tight after each stitch. Now my wife wants one."

Great Product, great price

"The string is tacky, so the first dozen or so holes are tougher than the rest. Line up the string with one hand, as you draw through with the other so you minimize friction and slight tearing of the lace holes. Draw the string very tight after lacing the first couple of holes, as it really looks best when pulled tight. Clamping your thumb or finger on the lace as you re-insert through the next hole keeps the tension. I love the look, the feel and quality. Plan on putting a good quality leather conditioner on it to soak overnight the first night, as the leather is pretty dry.
These will become standard on my vehicles as they age, and even new vehicles without leather grips."

"I am very pleased with this product. It did take longer, about 2 hrs, than the estimated installation time of 1hr, but the results were great. The Leather is of high quality, and there were no defects in the surface. You do need to pull the cord as tight as you can as instructed. I would purchase this product again."

"The Wheelskin Cover looks better than the original leather on the steering wheel. Installation took about an hour and some concentration, but I can't say enough about the results. Don't be fooled into buying a cheaper product, this is what you really need for your car or truck. Also the color was a perfect match for my truck's interior."

"leather wheel cover was good quality leather, but the waxed string was hard to use and knotted easily. It took me hours to complete the wheel because of all the knotts. Broke two needles and the string twice. Finally I had to go to a leather shop and buy a roll of waxed string and some new needles. I cut all the old string off the wheel and redid the stiching, and after several hours I finally got it finished."
