Old VW steering wheel looks new again

"I had some cuts on the original steering wheel. Ordered the Wheelskin Cover. Thought I give it a try. Took a while to get used to mount it. Instructions are right. Tight is right!!! It took me about 1 1/2 hours but its worth it. It looks good and I am very happy with it. Glad I pulled it tight together over the steering wheel. The best cover I can think of."

"Wheelskin Leather steering wheel cover is great. Color matches the car inteior well and the cover has a quality look and feel. Installation took about an hour and I needed to wear gloves. It was well worth it, though. I have wheelskin leather steering wheel covers on all of my vehicles."

Best ever - wheelskin leather steering wheel cover

"I'm extremely satisfied with the quality of leather used for this product. It took about an hour to stitch it onto the steering wheel and it fits like a glove. It looks beautiful and has a soft feel as quality leather should. Extremely satisfied customer!"

"Top notch product. The leather stretches slightly during fitment to ensure a tight, professional finish. Feels great in the hands, much better than the rubber wrap-round type. The inclusion of a sturdy hook to aid with tensioning during fitment would have been welcome. I improvised with a metal skewer bent to shape."

"I work in the service department of a new car dealership. I have installed many leather wheel covers supplied by the manufacturer but when I wanted one for my truck I found I could not get it through the dealer since it had been discontinued. I then found Wheelskin and ordered a cover from them. It was exactly the same as the higher priced OE dealer installed one, even down to the way the laceing was spooled up with the needle. It is a super tight fit and no one could tell it was not OE. This is one of the best fitting, best quality aftermarket accessories I have ever seen in my 40+ years in the business."

"Great fit, the installation was pretty easy and feels 100% better than plastic cover that was in my Highlander. One thing that I should have done before the installation is clean the steering wheel throughly because I could feel a tiny particle that was stuck between the cover and steering wheel."

"The wheel skins cover was a perfect fit, looked very nice.
It adds a great appearance as well as comfort.
As a tip: Pull as tight as possible everytime you thread, except for when you do the fake loops over the spoke- don't pull tight in those areas, just threat the loops lightly."

Wheelskin Cover for my Suburban

"I installed my new Wheelskin cover a couple of weeks ago. The installation was fairly straight forward -- although I had a bit of difficulty getting the center seam as tight as I would have liked. It is starting to form nicely against the finger inditations on the steering wheel. My only compliant is the feel isn't quite as tacky as my OEM steering wheel cover. I'm planning on buying one for my wife's van."

"Came within a few days. I ordered the red/black cover- the red online appears much brighter than it truely is.
It took a solid hour to put sew the cover on, but it wasn't that hard once I got the hang of it.
I would buy it again -"

"My Wheelskin arrived very quickly and exceeded my expectations. The black leather is soft and blemish free. I drive a 1977 Mercedes-Benz with quite a large steering wheel but the size was perfect. A good installation job does take more than an hour but the result is well worth it. I highly recommend the product and AutoAnything.com."
