"Love the look of the cover and install wasnt to bad but leave yourself plenty of time. All in all it came out very nice. My particular wheel had two bulges at the 3 & 9 o`clock positions which I pared down with a very sharp knife as I dont think the cover would have stretched over them."

Better than OEM

"Product is exactly as described. I thought about this for several weeks....new wheel or wheelskin. The difference in price was a little over $100. In my opinion the wheelskin is better than OEM....several friends of mine have the same car with the factory leather wheel and they liked the leatherskin more because the quality of leather and the feel is better, slightly larger. Installation was not a problem....just follow the instructions, EXACTLY, and you will not have any problems. Don't try to find a faster or easier way to install....follow the directions and you will have it done in less than an hour, it will look great, and you will not have to redo. (Speaking from experience) Started over several times because I thought I could do it better my way. Bottom line....fit perfect, tight, smooth, looks exactly as stock, easy install, great price, and FAST, FAST shipping....arrived before tracking number....2 days. 5 stars is not enough."

"Once you get the hang of the stitching it isn't that difficult to put on.It made a big difference. The original leather was too smooth to really make quick steering changes and now I'm more confident with my steering. Plus I prefer a slightly larger diameter rim. Great product."

"I was hoping that this cover would cover the whole existing leather. Maybe removing the old and replace it with the new. But it isn't big enough to do that. Therefore I haven't installed it."

"IT takes a whileto put on, and its nice on the areas where you wrap it tight, but where you have to use the fake lacing technique on the hub points, there is only so tight you can get it."

Good Fit

"The wheel skin fit perfectly on my 1999 Ford Expidition. I recived it and had it on the truck before my wife got home fom work. It took only one hour for installation as the intructions state. I recommend to put thick tape on your finger tips and palm of your hand to be able to really keep the stiching in place and make it look professional. The only draw back was the color. I requested Grey and it didn't quite match the rest of the Greay Leather in the truck. It has a slight hint of blue adn kind of stands out a little. But, I am happy with it and I love the grip I get on the sterring wheel. Let's see how it stands up to the summer and the upcoming boating season!!! Enrique"

"I recently purchased one of your steering wheel covers on-line from Auto Anything and I wanted to compliment you on your product. The quality & color of the cover are excellent, the instructions for installation are easy to follow, very accurate, fit is great, and it provided a good looking result in the end. I am not a very handy type guy, but the installation was easy and now that I have finished installing the cover, it makes my 2000 Explorer look and feel brand new."

Basic Wheelskin Covers x 2

"I bought basic black Wheelskin leather steering wheel covers for my 1995 Volvo 850 and my wife's 1999 Honda CRV. The Volvo wheel is fairly thick but the Wheelskin cover does not add to that appreciably. It feels great and looks great. On the CRV, the wheel is thinner and the Wheelskin adds a bit of extra grip, not to mention how much better it looks than a stock wheel. As others have said, the most important thing to keep in mind when installing these covers is to give youself plenty of time. Work in good light. Be patient and pull things very tight. I was interrupted to the point of having to stop the first installation on the Volvo. I just taped up the thread and went back to it the next day. It is possible to sew ahead several inches loosely, then come back and tighten each stitch individually. I found this helpful doing the shorter sections between spokes. Sew a little, check your stitching (I had to undo a couple of sections because I missed a stitch in poor lighting and redo them,) then tighten. It might be helpful to have either some needle-nosed pliers, medical hemostat clamps, or a short knitting needle to help pick up the thread to tighten it between stitches. I had some old hemostats in my tool box that worked very well but any of the other suggestions would work. In the end, you will be very pleased with the cover and your work!"

as good as original???

"the color is a good match and fits pretty good around the outside. My only complaint is that I was under teh impression it was going to fit like teh stock cover. It doesn't go around teh cruise control buttons. That would make it look a lot more professional. Feel it good though."
