Nice, but not terrific

"I have a Honda Pilot and the Wheelskin cover size "c" is supposed to fit like custom but it is cut too wide and actually meets itself around the wheel causing a sewing pucker. It is made of nice, durable leather and has a good feel, however. I have had two wheel covers for my other Honda in the past and they stitch tightly and just meet creating the perfect seam. I would probably call Wheelskins directly in the future or order a smaller size in 6 or so years when I need a new one."

"Took about 60 minutes. If I had the patience for another 20 or so, it would look factory. I ordered the solid black. Very nice feel. high quaility leather."

1991 F150-265,000 miles

"Needless to say, with this many miles, my wheel was well worn on the left half with about 60 degrees of that worn so that the rubber was showing. The Wheelskin covered all of the old leather nicely. Looks like new. A little hard to install, but once I started, it went easily."

"We have three vehicles in our family and I have just received my third steering wheel cover. Now I am "covered". This is the best I could find. Takes time to install, but if you follow the directions, you will be very happy with the result. More "feel" to the wheel."

"This is my second Wheelskin steering wheel cover install and I learned from the experience with my first installation. Proper alignment between the front and back holes is critical for a professional looking install. I was off by one hole on my first cover and it showed. The second installation went smoothly, but took almost 2 hours (my first Wheelskin took about that long, also). The waxed string really starts to hurt your hands after awhile, but the end result is worth all the effort. The new steering wheel cover (cobalt blue, single color) has really improved the looks of my Hyundai Tiburon's interior."

Wheelskins Poor Fit and Slick

"Tried to enhance the feel of my stock 2006 BMW 330 wheel with a "custom fit" wheelskin. The lacing procedure is quite tedious and took over 90 minutes. The cover did not fit tight against the spokes no matter how tight I pulled the lace (anyone with spokes longer than 1 inch I wouldn't recommend this product to). To top it off product is very slick and difficult to get traction with. I wound up putting some tackifier on it that I use for my tennis racket and golf clubs, but that will wear off in time. Overall not an impressive product, particularly given the cost."

"The Wheel Skin 2 tone cover was a nice looking addition to my truck. I gives that cusom look with out having to buy a new steering wheel. Easy to install, just take your time and be sure everything is lined up. Once you start the install process getting in back off is a real #@$*."

"the installation was easy, about 45 minutes. The leather is very soft and pliable. The stitching is waxed thread and not plastic, it should last a long time. Overall very pleased, a simple solution to a very bad problem. Don't wear any hand lotion when driving with leather. The previous owner obviously was a lotioned lady."

"Wonderful product. I ordered black leather to prevent discoloration. When installing, keep the cover aligned and tighten the stitches well. It will be rough on the hands but look great in the end."

"I found the wheel cover to be high in quality and it looks great on my wheel! The leather actually feels better than the original wheel. The fit and finish of the cover is wonderful and greatly compliments my interior. NOTE: If this is your first time attempting to put on a wheel cover, allot more time than the 60 minutes stated in the directions. However, it goes easier once you get the hang of it."
