"I purchased the wheel skin for my 1996 Ford F-150. The installation was easy because the wheel skin fit perfectly on the steering wheel. The eyelets matched exactly and made the lacing look neat and custom fit. The feel of leather makes driving less tiring and enjoyable."

Good and bad

"The Wheel Skin looks great. It gives the car some added style. The only bad thing was tying the tread, it was too waxy, so the knot comes undone. Is there a way to sear the ends/knot?"

"great and easy to install! very helpful too. Measure your own wheel to make sure size is right, I took off my factory wrap and so the first one they sent was too big, but they were very helpful in getting the right measurements and sending a new one."

"I surprised at how easy it was to install this wheel skin. The leather is high quality and feels great. The wheel skin color matched my car's interior perfectly. My steering wheel doesn't get as hot as before in these hot summer days. Great product!!"

Don't Expect Perfection

"Wheel Skin covers are very fine products. Excellent quality of materials and worksmanship Also, a very pleasant customer service staff that provided me with a second length of thread for lacing the cover on the steering wheel after I messed up the first try. Don't expect, however, a factory-like result. The cover doesn't fit like a glove around the spokes, and great care needs to be taken in lacing to achieve a good result. Also, the cover is made of fairly thick leather, so your steering wheel is going to be a good deal "fatter" in the end."

"Very nice material and very pleased with the results after installed. Felt the instuctions lacked slightly and that the included needle for stiching could have been better if it were "fish hook" shaped. More than satisfied overall with the product and color selection. Did not add any real additional thickness to an already fat steering wheel - this was a very good thing"

"I ordered a new leather wheel skin from AutoAnything to cover a badly cracking steering wheel. It fit perfectly. Took me about an hour to sew it on. Once you get in a rhythm it is easy. Highly recommend it!"
