"I had to soak the leather to get it soft enough to fit over the wheel, but it was worth the extra effort. It looks and feels wonderful and it will only get better over time. A+"

The BEST thing you can buy If you are looking for "that feel "

"I am more than 100% satisfied with this Wheelskin. I placed the order on a Saturday (the first day I really had to enjoy my new VW Jetta). The only thing I didn't like about the Jetta was the steering wheel(grip). I knew I needed a leather cover. I searched online and found AutoAnything by pretty much just entering "leather steering wheel cover". I entered my auto info and the website was so intuitive from that point on. Now, I read reviews and people had hard times installing (so they said) this WheelSkin. I had the thing on my wheel and adored by my fiance, and me of course, in under an hour. Now I did it right and kept the thread TIGHT!. TIGHT IS RIGHT! I did end up with a laceration on the outside of my left pinky finger. But, this is because I did it RIGHT, You may experience pain upon install. So don't buy it if you're a whimp! If you are looking for GREAT leather products to spice up your chariot!!!... GO TO AUTOANYTHING.COM. Hope to see you there. I know I'll be back!!!"

"Be prepared to spend at least an hour. You should also have a good pair of leather gloves as the thread is thick and wax coated.
Take your time and have patience. The thread can get tangled quite easily and it can take some time to get untangled.
Overall, once I finished, the look and feel were great. Small investment to protect the original leather on your steering wheel from the oils on your hands."

Stitch it as tight as you can so that both flaps "touch".
You'll be pleased with the finished product. It feels great, and looks good!"

"We love it. We have referred some friends to you as well. They have a Tbird and the wheel is large like the mustang. It is hard to find nice looking covers that fit. The color match is perfect and we think that the price we paid, tho it seemed high at the time, was worth it. We would definitely recommend this cover to friends and to Auto Anything for good service. June "

"I purchased the wheelskins steering wheel cover for my 94 miata. The factory steering wheel finish has started to wear off.
This product returned the steering wheel to a comfortable place for your hands while driving.
The wheelskin takes approximately 30 mins to install, but the end result is a substantially better cover than the quicker solutions."

"This is a fantastic piece of leather. It looks like it came with the car from the factory. The only thing is it didn't come with two needles but, we had an extra to install the classic way. It takes a long time. but is worth the end result. a very good investment."

"Very nice product - it took a while to stich on - almost 2 hours, but I'm a very picky consumer, so I wanted to be sure it was perfect, (and that's with refreshment breaks to boot). If definitely gives a better driving feel (gives our Mazda 5 more zoom zoom) and I can only imagine that it will be even nicer in the hot and cold temp extremes come summer and winter. I highly recommend."

"This wheel cover will save you about $100-150 versus having the dealer intall one that would probably be almost identical. It takes about an hour, but well worth it if your old steering wheel looked like mine."

"I have done this before with a homemade, custom leather wrap that I had made at by a leather shop many years ago.
I must say that the Wheelskin wrap is top quality, but you must be ready to spend more than one hour to install it.
As the instructions say "pull the thread very tight" in order to stretch the leather so it will close itself around the steering wheel. You must pull quite hard to achieve the best look and the best feel for when you are driving.
I desided to sew the wrap on by a different method than the instruction call for. I went to my local shoe repair shop and purchased a much longer (20 ft. long) piece of heavy sewing thread (normally used to stitch the shoe leather to the sole). I only used about 12 ft. of thread, but my steeling wheel is only 14 in. in diameter. A larger diameter wheel would require more than 12 ft.
I then purchased an additional needle to the one provided by Wheelskins. The needle must be the same size and kind. (notice that the needle has a rounded point and is not very sharp).
I used both needles and stitched the wrap on using an over and under lacing pattern. (the same way you would lace up your shoes)
This method really looks and feels good to the touch when your are driving. The offset is that this method of sewing took me three hours to complete. I repeat what I said before: "You must pull the threads very hard"!
The results were well worth the effort. Great product. I highly recommend the Wheelskin leather wheel cover."

"The cover went on perfectly. Takes a little patience but it is well worth it. I wish they included a little more lacing because a cross stitch would look more professional. But then again, you can order some more from the manufacturer.
Great Product !!!"

"Fit good, laced nice, was NOT custom fit to my car - that was really deceptive. It was only designed to fit my wheel in the sense of diameter and rim thickness. I would have prefered something designed with the factory spokes in mind. It just looks to aftermarket. Won't buy again....."

"I like the way the wheelskin cover fits my steering wheel. It was very easy to put on and fits perfectly. I had a hard time finding a cover, that match the interior of my vehicle. I could only find a color similar to the sand in a lot of the stores. Which was to light for the beige interior in my car. But the oak color matched perfectly."

"I just installed my Wheelskins leather steering wheel cover on a 2008 Toyota Prius and I am delighted with the job. It looks wonderful and feels even better. It must be known that the only thing I didn't like about the Prius was its steering wheel and this now makes the Prius completely satisfactory to me. Thanks for a great product. Arden "
