"I had no difficulty in installing this very soft leather steering wheel cover. It took me about the time they said (1 hour) - Take your time and stretch the fabric as hard as you can by hand - a glove will definitely help! The final outcome is well worth it - superb comfort. Don"

"Although $50 is quite a bit for a steering wheel cover I am very pleased with the quality of the piece of leather, much superior to the leather the manufacturer used on my jeep. Best deal on a new oem steering wheel I could find $350, same low quality leather. this is not the first time I have used this product and certainly not the last!"

"The steering wheel cover was actually small for my wheel. The material was able to be stretched to fit. This stretchinog exposed thread that is used as support for folded edge and caused some of holes for lacing to lose alignment. This alignment issue was easy to correct during lacing. It was great having enough waxed lacing to complete the job. I was able to finish within one hour. I would buy a similar wheel cover if necessary."

"I tried many other steering wheel covers and they did not fit correctly or did not look good. The Wheelskin steering wheel cover not only looks great but fits like a glove. It took just over an hour to install but well worth the time and effort. Very pleased with the product and would recommend to anyone looking for a leather steering wheel cover. GREAT PRODUCT."

fitting problems

"this cover was installed by a detail shop. however, this cover did not fit over the orignal leather factory leather steering wheel. no instructions about any need to remove the original was included in this kit. you should know that all c70 volvos have factory wrapped steering wheel and that if the original wrap needs to be removed to fit properly, you should advise installer. the original is not easilt removed without real negative appearence look-you should sell an oversized model to accomadate this situation. our original steering wheel was worn and unsightly, making such a repair necessary. sincereky, mary "

Custom wheel cover

"The steering wheel cover I ordered was to replace the wore leather cover from my 1997 mustang GT. The original cover was so worn and unsightly that I removed it before even ordering my wheelskin. Little did I know that this would mean the wheel cover would not fit. Never mind the fact that it wasn't even close to matching the color of my interior. I couldn't have been more unhappy with the purchase. I called the company directly and spoke with (I forgot her name, I'm so sorry) and she mailed me some color swatches and told me how to measure my steering wheel so that she could make me a truly custom cover. Customer service much? I couldn't be happier with the results. It looks great! Thanks!"

"The leather is very nice and the stitches are not hard to do, it has a very snug fit and long-lasting durability. Beautiful addition to my Honda, it is stylish and adds a fresh new look to the car interior. Very easy to install, the leather dramatically changes the look of the stock steering wheel. Defenetly adds comfort and accent the vehicle with a nice touch of class. Give yourself about an hour for installation. I am please with it."

"This wheel cover looks exactly like oem. Fits onto the wheel tightly and takes on the shape (grips) of the steering wheel. I took my time installing the cover,poked my fingers several times with the needle. I am not much of a seamstress and it still looks great. Very satisfied with product"

"I put it on my '92 Chevy Camaro. Took me almost 2 hours, but I pulled each stitch w/ a pair off pliers so it would have a super tight fit and it was worth the extra time, came out really nice. A+A+"

"Simply the best quality leather wheel cover I've ever installed. I've ripped many eyelets on cheaper leather covers that were either low quality or not wide enough. Never came close to tearing the Wheelskins when pulling the stitching very tight. Great product!"

"This is the second car I have added the wheelskin cover to. The first car had a bad steering wheel and this cover fixed it. My new car has a perfect steering wheel, and I wanted to keep it that way. Plus I like the thicker feel."
