"Some of the holes on the back of the cover weren`t punched all the way through. Very time consuming, but other than that it came out very good."

"Overall a great leather cover for your steering wheel. Labor intensive but worth it. Feels like a factory leather steering wheel. Make sure you keep your lacing tight when applying and you will be very happy!!!!"

"A fine product so long as you've got time to kill for installation. Tedious to say the least. I think I might try bicycle handlebar wrap next time. I sure won't purchase another Wheelskin."

"Despite reading all the positive feedback on this product, I was still a little skeptical that it would live up to expectations. I'm happy to report that it not only met my expectations, but exceeded them. It took about 1.5 hours to install it, but it was time well spent. I'm getting used to the steering wheel being a little thicker now, but the cover feels like something that you would expect on a new, high-quality car. Just be sure to keep those stitches tight!"

"Just take your time when installing; make sure that you have allowed enough time to do it right and tight. Upgrade that slippery wheel with a very high quality leather wrap."

Makes up for Chevy's deficiency

"It was dismaying to get a pebbled plastic steering wheel on my new Chevy Express van. Fortunately Wheelskins solved the problem. It took about an hour to install and I love the feel and the look."

"Excellent quality but overpriced. About the only thing that I got for the extra money was a good choice of colors. I have bought several black covers of comparable quality in the past at a fraction of the cost. I am not complaining but you did ask for an opinion!"

"I do like the product. The only thing that I was not crazy about is how it is around my two spokes. I wish the instructions got a little more into that. Since my two spokes are large it was not very tight around them. But the rest of it looks great."

"THIS WHEEL SKIN IS THE BEST. IT IS VERY TIME CONSUMING AS OTHER CUSTOMERS STATED, BUT IT IS WORTH IT. I TOOK IT SLOW AND CAME OUT VERY NICE. IT TOOK ME ABOUT 2:30 MINUTES. "Couple of tips: Warm leather with hair dryer often to keep pliable. Also, tighten each stitch hard - thread won't break. Easier if you have someone hold each stitch while you thread the next to keep leather from loosening. Took a while to install, but mine came out looking as close to a factory wrap as you can get. Well worth the effort - much better feel on the wheel."

07 tahoe wheel skin

"much harder to stitch on than it looks. Had trouble around the spokes of the terring wheel. Might use a baseball stitch instead to give it more of an oem look. Overall it looks nice. My sewing skill is suspect."

"I bought this for my jeep because standard wheel covers wouldn't fit. It looks great but definitely was time consuming to complete. It was a little difficult keeping it on straight when you first start but when you get 1/4 of it done it gets easier."

"It took about an hour as it stated on the instructions, looks great, I went with a two tone and I couldn't have picked the colors better, it goes perfect! The feel is genuine as well, I put it on over my lexus rx300's steering wheel due to the inevitable scratches and rubs that occur. Definitely recommend!"

"This is the second vehicle I have bought this for. Wheelskin steering wheel covers are by far the best on the market! It may seem pricey compared to other steer wheel covers; however, the leather quality is the best. Once the product is installed it looks and feels like it was something that came from the factory. Highly recommend!"

"I think it is a good choice for an add-on leather cover. Installtion was time consuming but easy. It looked pretty good from the start but seemed to form fit the wheel after a few days to look even better. Just remember to keep it tight when stitching!!!"
