Too difficult for four spoke steering wheel

    Reviewed by Wayne B (Alden, MI) — May 15, 2013 12:40 PM

This instillation is too difficult for the average person. After two hours I was only 60% around the wheel when I discovered that the cover had rotated forward on the steering wheel This exposed the sewing seam to the driver and it looked ugly. I think this is due to the pulling of the thread material as it is sewn up. The tightening process requires to keep strong tension on the thread material least all your previous several inches come loose. I an thinking of sending it back. May try again.

I installed this on my '02 Mustang Convertible, and am very happy with the look and the feel. Went with the two tone perforated cover, and I'm glad I did. Overall I am very pleased. The soft feel of the leather is great. I would have given 5 stars but for the time and frustration of the needlework. The thread is coated and is much longer than needed, and tends to tangle and stick to itself. It gets easier as you get further along, but you need to be patient. But, all in all, a great product.

    Amazing quality!

I got tired of buying those cheapie steering wheel covers you can buy in stores and while this one was pricey, it exceeded my expectations in quality. Be forewarned, however, installation does take some time so be prepared to spend about an hour.

    Does Not Fit

Despite ordering a cover for a Honda Fit, the cover does not fit well. It is asymetical in terms of top and bottom. It as if it is shifter 90 degrees in terms of the leather type. It is, all and all, a completely unsatisfactory product.

good fit and finish. Not sure how long it took to install but after watching a video with some installation tips it went on very nicely. Very comfortable for driving and it is a nice upgrade to the deteriorating leather of my 17 y/o steering wheel. Would recommend without hesitation.

The best wheel cover you can buy!

Wheelskins are the best wheel cover you can buy. The look is as if it was done in the factory. You have to take your time & keep the string tight. Its time consuming but the look is second to none. I love this product.

    2000 Nissan Maxima

One word, "WOW". I have the two tone interior, brown and sand. The wheelskin looks great and it looks like its stock from the manufacturer. But give your self ample time two set the skin correctly on the steering wheel, and be patient, it will take some time to stitch this skin on. The tighter you do it the better it will come out. Once your done you will be more than happy you ordered it. It has a nice soft feel to it, high grade leather quality. I was more than impressed.

    Just what I wanted

Reviewed by Frances S (Pembroke Pines, FL) Reviewed for a 2008 Toyota Prius — Mar 23, 2013 5:32 AM

Got my wheelskin in days -thanks. My husband installed that night. It does take patience and some time to thread on the cover but well worth it. It's very hard to find a steering wheel cover for my Prius so I'm very satisfied with end result.
