Wheelskins Leather Steering Wheel Covers Reviews

Wheelskin adds nice feel

Reviewed By Gordon M (Lafayette, LA) Reviewed for a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country —11/25/2007 7:20 AM

I got the wheelskin to cover up the stock "leather" stearing wheel cover. I'm not sure what the stock one is made of but it turned black and started to rub off (tan is its stock color). The wheelskin feels great and was easy to put on. It does take about an hour just like the directions said. I used to the sand color for my tan colored interior. It seemed the closest although it is a bit lighter than the original. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because it doesn't cover the spoke leather sections. It would be nice if they made custom cut skins to fit the stock wheels that would cover the spokes like the original. It looks pretty good though and it is alot nicer than the slip on cover I used for a while. The leather is soft and smooth and feels great!

Attractive and comfortable for arthritic hands. Actually the wheel feels cooler.

Great cover but time consuming installation

Reviewed By Peter T (Venice, FL) —5/3/2016 11:36 AM

This is a great cover. Unfortunately it took me almost 4 hours to sew (good thing my life doesn't depend on my proficiency in that area). With all of that said Wheel Skins sent me another roll of thread so I could redo it. Now that I've done it once I'm sure I can do a much better job (I built my own house and even an award winning motorcycle so I'm not without some manipulative skills).
